One thing I noticed when I watch his kids to eat vegetables is not necessarily they do not like leaving behind its more food that takes longer to eat. Peas are a good example.

microwave step can be skipped if you are served with pan sauce. After removing the rissoles from the pan, add 3 or 4 cups of water into the pan to the sauce. Thicken with cornflour or gravy making the normal method and replace the rissoles in pan. Simmer with lid on for 50-10 minutes before serving
